The scaffolding has been erected around the building perimeters and the sole plates that sit on the block upstand of the walls have been fixed down. This becomes the supporting base for the timber frame.
The beam and block floor has been finished atop the foundations and the block upstand built for the timber frame to be erected. The scaffolding will be put up shortly in anticipation of the shell arrival next week. The timber frames will be assembled simultaneously across both sites.
With the concrete trench foundations completed and all topsoil removed, blockwork was laid in readiness for the beam and block flooring.
