We are thrilled to announce that Scandia-Hus won the Best Individual New Home in the South East at the LABC Awards held on Friday night.

Built in 2013, Westbrook is located in West Sussex and the accommodation for this bespoke timber frame family home is situated over four floors.

A number of factors contributed to Westbrook winning the award including the building’s performance and sustainability which was achieved by the incorporation of solar panels, a full heat recovery and ventilation system, high levels of insulation as well as under floor heating.

Communication between the  Scandia-Hus design team, site personnel and the Local Authority was also an important part of the project. Working together as a team the key objectives were met and the result is a beautiful property built to extremely high standards.

As a regional winner Westbrook will now go onto the national LABC Awards which take place in London in November.
