Groundworks have begun on this build, and there have been a few challenges to overcome.
Excavation for the driveway, which will provide access to the steep site located on the hillside, uncovered an old clay rainwater pipe that had to be diverted.
Poor ground conditions due to the unseasonal wet weather seen throughout August have also caused issues.
Reinforcement steel has now been laid to the first section of the drive in preparation for pouring of the concrete slab which will support the driveway and retaining walls.
Our expert ground workers have risen to the challenge of this tricky topography and are doing an excellent job.
