Underfloor heating pipes are fixed to the floor. Underfloor heating provides a much more even temperature and is ideally suited for timber frame homes. Each room is individually controlled.
After the underfloor heating pipes have been laid, a dry mix screed is laid between the battens on the first floor. A second layer of 12mm ply is fixed to the battens to form the top layer of the floor sandwich.
