A new development of 12 homes is currently being constructed in Brockham, Surrey, for the benefit of local residents in greatest need.
The Poland Trust is a charity based in Brockham with the objective of helping local people who are in need, hardship or distress. In recent years, it has become apparent that those in greatest need are often younger and for various reasons, they are unlikely to ever be able to live in the area because of the very high property prices. With land generously gifted to The Poland Trust by a local family, 12 homes are being constructed that will be rented at 60% of market rents to local people in greatest need.
Scandia-Hus have been commissioned to design, manufacture and build the units at Poland Meadow. The homes have been designed to look like a traditional farmhouse and a collection of farm buildings to fit in with the local surroundings. We are delighted to have been selected to work alongside the Poland Trust on this innovative and unique project.
If you have a connection to the area and are interested in renting one of these new homes, contact Mole Valley District Council’s Housing team.
