Following the completion of first fix plumbing and electrics, plasterboard was then fitted.

First Fix

Following the completion of first fix plumbing and electrics, in which the wiring and pipework for the bungalow were installed into the timber carcass, plasterboard was then fitted to the structural battens of the walls and ceilings.

Plasterboard

The type of plasterboard used in each room depends on its purpose; in wet rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, a moisture-resistant board is required.

Plastering

A thin layer of plaster was then coated on the surface to leave a smooth finish ready for the next stage of the build process.
