Ashurst 4 – Windows and Doors

March 25, 2026

Our Ashurst build has been fitted with high-performance, triple-glazed timber composite windows and doors that combine exceptional energy efficiency with attractive aesthetics.

Triple Glazed Window

The units were supplied by Norrsken, specialists in premium timber windows and doors featuring durable aluminium exterior cladding.

Composite Windows

This composite construction offers a solution for those who want the natural warmth and classic charm of timber on the inside, paired with the resilience and low-maintenance advantages of aluminium on the outside.

Triple Glazing

Norrsken shares our commitment to energy-conscious design, and their triple-glazed products have been engineered to deliver incredible thermal performance, with several of their models suitable for Passive standard and other low-energy building projects.

Norrsken Windows

With U-values around 0.8 W/(m²K) or better (and some as low as 0.6 W/(m²K) on both windows and doors), these units rank among the most energy-efficient on the market.

Alu Clad Timber Window

Compared with double-glazing, triple-glazing significantly improves heat retention, while also enhancing acoustic performance and security.

Triple Glazed Sliding Doors

Every Norrsken product is completely bespoke, custom-manufactured according to the client’s specification. Size, shape, glass type, colour, opening mechanism and hardware are all chosen by the customer to suit their exact requirements and design vision.

Timber Composite Sliding Doors

For this project, we selected top-swing, triple-glazed windows, alongside lift-and-slide triple-glazed doors. Internally frames are coloured white, with a bold black-grey finish on the exterior that adds contemporary style to the façade.

Sliding Door

Positioned within the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, as well as the principal bedroom, the expansive sliding doors will maximise natural daylight and deliver views of the surrounding greenery, strengthening the connection between interior spaces and the landscape beyond.
