The house is approached through a wide covered entrance porch with double doors leading into an open-plan entrance hall. Here three arches open into a large dining hall, lit by skylights from the first floor gallery above. The ground floor accommodation also includes a large kitchen and breakfast area, a family room and a spacious sitting room with patio doors leading out onto the garden. In addition, the Linden incorporates a self-contained bed-sit or granny annexe.

An attractive staircase tower ascends to the first floor accommodation, featuring four bedrooms and a galleried landing/study/hobby room area, overlooking the dining room. The master bedroom suite contains a luxurious bathroom, built around a large window bay, and an attractive oriel window; and the second bedroom features its own private balcony.

The total cost of the project (including building set, shell erection and construction) will depend on site conditions as well as on your final specification and your chosen method of construction, i.e. self-build, project management, use of a nominated main contractor or a combination of these methods.
