The Cuboid - Simple Geometric Shapes
This aptly named contemporary house is startlingly simple in its lines and finishes; and its interior fully meets the criteria of today’s open-plan living.
Whether entering the house via the link from the carport or via the entrance hall, you first come into the kitchen/breakfast area, the hub of the home. The flow of the design then takes you to the dining room, through the snug with its central woodburning stove, and into the sitting room.
This bright room is given an additional dimension and feeling of space through its double storey height and the glazing to both floors will bring light to the whole house on even the dullest day. The first floor comprises 3 double bedrooms, one with en suite facilities, as well as a large separate bathroom and there is a small feature balcony off the first floor landing above the entrance doors. The area over the double carport contains a large guest suite, hobby room, study or office – to suit your own preferences and requirements.
