The Beach Lodge - Beside The Seaside
This custom-designed house is located right at the edge of the shingle beech with fantastic sea views from the vast timber-bedecked verandahs.
This ‘upside down’ house benefits from a large living, family and dining room, stretching the full depth of the first floor, and this floor also houses the kitchen, and master bedroom suite.
The living room has been built with a huge projecting window making the most of the stunning views, and making it possible to watch the sun rise at one end of the room and set at the other.
On the ground floor, a WC and wet room complete with sauna is located just off the entrance lobby, giving easy access from the beech. And from the inner hall, which features a stunning, central spiral staircase, doors lead off to two bedrooms, a study, a family bathroom and a utility room.
The end result is a home, which is stylish, has a nautical feel, fits perfectly into its position, and is extremely comfortable and quite unique.

| These estimated square foot prices are inclusive of building set, shell erection, window fit and construction costs. The price includes delivery to mainland site. The building set includes the timber frame with a fully boarded roof, insulation, 15mm plasterboard, plasterboard screws, Swedish triple glazed windows and external doors. Also included are Swedish internal doors, skirting boards, coving, architrave, insulated loft hatch and ladder, open or closed treat staircase and mechanical ventilation system. The estimate assumes standard foundation requirements and a good, above average specification of finishing materials. It does not include any external works, connecting to utilities or associated professional fees.
