We have never compiled statistics of how many Scandia-Hus homes built throughout the British Isles are of a 'traditional' design, compared to those of a contemporary, chalet, single, two or three-storey design.

Some 30 years ago, when we first started marketing our homes in the UK, undoubtedly most had a distinct Scandinavian flavour, but today the split between traditional and Scandinavian is probably fairly even.

In this section we have included customer 'case studies' in respect of three individual, traditional homes, describing how three different families went about the task of having their own home built.

We are planning to add new 'full stories' to this section on a regular basis, and hope that these will give you ideas and inspiration for the design and build of your own Scandia-Hus home.
