Three decades ago, when we first started marketing our homes in the UK, the majority of Scandia-Hus designs were created in Sweden. However, since those early days we have expanded our range to include virtually any type of design - from Scandinavian chalets to Olde-Worlde English cottages; from Tudor to Queen Anne to Victorian houses; from timbered New England homes to modern, glass fronted town houses - and anything in between.

As more and more customers have begun to realise the full breadth of our range, we are receiving an increasing number of enquiries for contemporary designs, and our architectural technicians welcome the challenge of creating a really modern structure with an abundance of glass, angular roofs, vaulted ceilings and split level accommodation.

In this section we plan to show a number of contemporary homes built in various parts of the UK. We start off with just three such homes complete with the customers' "full stories", explaining how they went about designing and building their new Scandia-Hus home.
