This home, built just off our Show Centre site, was initially erected at the London Ideal Home Exhibition at Earls Court, where it was on show, fully finished and furnished for the duration of the Exhibition. The house was subsequently dismantled and re-constructed in East Grinstead, where it blends in perfectly with the surrounding properties.
This house abounds with innovative ideas - a dining hall which opens to a first floor gallery, lit by skylights; a staircase tower; an 'indoor' garden; a kitchen and a bathroom designed around a double-storey window bay; and a balcony off the master bedroom recessed into the roof. It also incorporates a self-contained ground floor annex for use for example as additional accommodation or office space.
The Linden does not actually form part of our Show Centre, but can be viewed from the outside. The photographs shown on this page were all taken at the Ideal Home Exhibition and provide a good representation of this contemporary home.
