The second of the two bungalows built at our Sussex Show Centre in 1984, the Ekudden still remains as up-to-date as any of our much later designs.
Thanks to the classic division between its living areas and sleeping quarters, this design remains forever current. The lay-out is a perfect example of the combination of British and Swedish architecture in that it provides Scandinavian open-plan living areas coupled with the privacy of self-contained bedroom accommodation.
The recess forming a Continental style verandah at the front of the bungalow provides
an attractive and practical covered entrance and a sunny spot for afternoon tea or
pre-dinner drinks.
This show-bungalow has now been sold on and is available for viewing only from the outside courtyard. However, to get a clearer idea of its scope, you may view the Ekudden floor plan, as well as a selection of external and internal photographs, simply click the link on the right.
