Contemporary Designs

What makes a contemporary design? To many, contemporary suggests vast areas of glass and angular roofs, to others imposing stone portals, open courtyards, split-level accommodation, vaulted ceilings and galleried, sweeping staircases. Contemporary literally means "of these times", which would appear to leave infinite scope for one's own imagination.

At this moment, you are on the threshold or realising a dream. Your project is a broad clean canvas on which to create your perfect home and, whichever style you prefer, there are no limitations with Scandia-Hus.

To whet your appetite, we have included half a dozen contemporary homes in this section of our website, all designed and built for individual customers in various parts of the UK. These designs have proved so successful that we are currently in the process of creating a completely new range of contemporary designs to complement the more traditional Scandia-Hus range of homes.
