Scandia-Hus supplied its first clubhouse in 1984 for a Sussex village bowls and cricket club. Since then, we have built clubhouses and pavilions for a number of different sports, but few projects have been as satisfying as this golf clubhouse and driving range in Suffolk.

The St. Helena project includes two golf courses and a covered, flood-lit 18-bay driving range as well as an 8,850 sq.ft clubhouse. The clubhouse, which incorporates a pro-shop and two restaurants, was designed by Scandia-Hus’ in-house design team to fulfil the clients’ very specific requirements.

The external detailing was carefully crafted to match the area’s architectural heritage and to harmonize with the site’s existing 16th and 17th century farm buildings.

The total project was completed in record-time and, in less than a year, members were playing the 27 holes which, a mere eleven months before, had been under wheat.
